Ingredients

- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 3 ½ teaspoons baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1 ¼ cups milk
- 1 large egg
- 3 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup mini chocolate chips
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- In a separate bowl, whisk milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
- Pour wet ingredients into dry mixture and stir until just combined. Lumps are okay.
- Gently fold in mini chocolate chips, reserving some for topping if desired.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease with butter or oil.
- Pour ¼ cup of batter onto skillet for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form, about 2–3 minutes.
- Flip and cook another 1–2 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve warm with extra chips and maple syrup.

- Customize toppings with fresh fruits or whipped cream if desired.
