Description

Delicious and fluffy chocolate chip pancakes perfect for breakfast or brunch.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 ½ teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 ¼ cups milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  3. Pour wet ingredients into dry mixture and stir until just combined. Lumps are okay.
  4. Gently fold in mini chocolate chips, reserving some for topping if desired.
  5. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease with butter or oil.
  6. Pour ¼ cup of batter onto skillet for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form, about 2–3 minutes.
  7. Flip and cook another 1–2 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Serve warm with extra chips and maple syrup.

Notes

  • Ensure the skillet is well-greased to prevent sticking.
  • Customize toppings with fresh fruits or whipped cream if desired.
