Description
Delicious baked chicken taquitos made with shredded chicken, cheese, and salsa, wrapped in flour tortillas and baked until crispy.

- 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lb)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese
- 8 flour tortillas
- ½ cup salsa
- 2 tsp cooking oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then bake for about 25 minutes until fully cooked. Let cool slightly before shredding.
- In a bowl, combine shredded chicken, salsa, and cheese.
- Place about two tablespoons of the mixture onto each tortilla; roll tightly and place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
- Brush each taquito lightly with cooking oil.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can add spices to the chicken before baking.
- Serve with sour cream or guacamole on the side.
