Description

A delicious and creamy chicken fettuccine dish made in a slow cooker.


Ingredients

  • 2 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, cubed
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chopped parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts into the slow cooker. Season with salt and pepper. Add minced garlic, cubed cream cheese, and butter.
  2. Pour heavy cream over the chicken mixture. Cover and cook on low for 4–5 hours.
  3. Once the chicken is tender, shred it in the slow cooker using tongs or two forks.
  4. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  5. Boil fettuccine pasta until al dente. Drain and add to the crock pot. Stir until pasta is well coated.
  6. Top with fresh parsley and serve hot.

Notes

  • For best results, use freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
  • Feel free to add more vegetables like spinach or broccoli for additional flavor and nutrition.
