- 1 lb (450 g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ cup (120 ml) heavy cream
- ½ cup (50 g) freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- Pat shrimp dry and season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add shrimp and cook 1–2 minutes per side until pink and lightly golden. Remove and set aside.
- Lower heat to medium. Add remaining butter and garlic. Sauté 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Stir in heavy cream and simmer 2–3 minutes.
- Add Parmesan and stir until sauce thickens.
- Return shrimp to the skillet and cook 1–2 minutes, coating in sauce.
- Finish with lemon juice and parsley.
- Serve immediately with crusty bread, rice, or pasta.
