Description

This creamy garlic shrimp dish is quick, easy, and perfect for any night of the week. Serve it over pasta or with crusty bread for a delightful meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450 g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup (120 ml) heavy cream
  • ½ cup (50 g) freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Pat shrimp dry and season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add shrimp and cook 1–2 minutes per side until pink and lightly golden. Remove and set aside.
  4. Lower heat to medium. Add remaining butter and garlic. Sauté 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and simmer 2–3 minutes.
  6. Add Parmesan and stir until sauce thickens.
  7. Return shrimp to the skillet and cook 1–2 minutes, coating in sauce.
  8. Finish with lemon juice and parsley.
  9. Serve immediately with crusty bread, rice, or pasta.
