Description

Delicious beef tacos made with flavorful spices and served with your favorite toppings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 cup diced onion
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 8 fajita size tortillas
  • Desired taco toppings: lettuce, tomatoes, shredded cheese, avocado, etc.

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the onion and cook until softened.
  2. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it up as it cooks, until browned and cooked through.
  3. Add the chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, cornstarch, salt, oregano, and garlic powder. Stir to combine.
  4. Stir in the tomato sauce and the beef broth. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 5-10 minutes to let the flavors meld.
