- 4 bone-in chicken thighs
- 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
- 2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Marinate the Chicken: In a large bowl, combine olive oil, soy sauce, garlic powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and maple syrup. Add chicken thighs and coat well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
- Preheat: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat or the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Prepare for Cooking: Allow marinated chicken to sit at room temperature for about 15 minutes. Lightly grease your cooking surface.
- Cook the Chicken: Grill each side for about 7-8 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C), or bake for approximately 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Apply More Glaze: Brush additional maple syrup glaze during the last few minutes of cooking.
- Serve: Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving with remaining glaze drizzled on top.

- For a spicier kick, add cayenne pepper to the marinade.
