- 1/2 cup Purple, Green, and Gold Sanding Sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 410°F (210°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Beat the cold salted butter with granulated and brown sugars in a mixer for 1-2 minutes until smooth and creamy.
- Add the cold eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition followed by the vanilla and almond extracts.
- Whisk together flour, cornstarch, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a separate bowl.
- Combine the dry mixture gradually with the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Gently fold in the cold cream cheese chunks, white chocolate chips, and festive sprinkles.
- Scoop and divide the dough into tall mounds, about 5-6 oz each, on the prepared baking sheets.
- Sprinkle sanding sugar generously on top of each mound.
- Bake for 9-12 minutes until the edges are golden brown and the centers are slightly underdone.
- Cool the cookies on the baking sheet for about 30 minutes before transferring them to wire racks.
