Description

A delicious garlic butter sirloin steak served alongside roasted baby potatoes.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb sirloin steak (1-inch thick)
  • 1 lb baby potatoes, halved
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Toss halved potatoes in a bowl with olive oil, salt, and pepper until well-coated.
  3. Spread potatoes on a baking sheet and roast for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  4. While the potatoes roast, season the sirloin steak generously with salt and pepper.
  5. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat; sear the steak for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare.
  6. Add butter and minced garlic to the skillet; baste the steak with melted butter while cooking.
  7. Let the steak rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  8. Serve alongside garlic butter potatoes.
