Delicious seafood-filled bombs wrapped in golden crescent roll dough, perfect for a snack or appetizer!
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 package Crescent Roll Dough (Store-bought for convenience)
- 12 oz Shrimp (Chopped)
- 8 oz Crab Meat (Canned, drained)
- 8 oz Cream Cheese (Softened)
- 1 cup Shredded Cheese (Cheddar/Mozzarella) (Optional)
- 2 scallions Green Onions (Chopped)
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder (Can substitute with fresh garlic)
- 1 tsp Old Bay Seasoning (Classic seafood seasoning)
- to taste Salt and Pepper (For seasoning)
- 1 egg Egg (for brushing) (Can substitute with melted butter or olive oil)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, blend cream cheese, crab meat, chopped shrimp, green onions, garlic powder, Old Bay seasoning, shredded cheese, salt, and pepper until smooth and creamy—around 2-3 minutes of mixing should do the trick!
- Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) to ensure it’s hot and ready for baking those golden delights.
- Roll out the crescent dough carefully. Place a spoonful of the shrimp and crab mixture at the wide end of each triangle, then fold the dough over and seal the edges well. Keep the seam side down on a lined baking sheet.
- Whisk an egg and brush it over the tops of the bombs for that gorgeous golden finish.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and flaky.
- After baking, let the bombs cool for about 5 minutes before serving.
- They pair wonderfully with a dipping sauce like spicy mayo or classic cocktail sauce.
Notes
- These bombs can also be made with melted butter or olive oil instead of egg for brushing.
- Feel free to adjust the seasoning to your taste.
