  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ cup sliced green onions (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cut the beef chuck roast into 1-inch pieces and place it in the slow cooker.
  2. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, beef broth, rice vinegar, minced garlic, minced ginger, sesame oil, and black pepper. Whisk until smooth.
  3. Pour the sauce over the beef, ensuring that all pieces are well coated.

  5. About 30 minutes before the cooking time is up, check the beef for tenderness. It should be fork-tender when done.
