Deliciously moist pecan bread with a sweet honey glaze.

- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 3 tablespoons honey (for glaze)
- 3 tablespoons melted butter (for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together granulated sugar, brown sugar, flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract until smooth and slightly frothy.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients. Mix until just combined—do not overmix.
- Fold in chopped pecans evenly.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- While the bread is still warm, drizzle it with melted butter and honey glaze.
- Let it sit for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
