Description

A delicious creamy pasta dish with Italian sausage, spinach, and ravioli.


Ingredients

  • 12 oz Italian Sausage
  • 1/2 cup onion (finely chopped)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 15 oz seasoned diced tomatoes
  • 8 oz tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 18 oz frozen ravioli
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese (grated)
  • 12 cups fresh spinach (roughly chopped)

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over high heat. Add the sausage and onions, cooking for about 5 minutes, breaking up the sausage. Cook until it is no longer pink and the onions are soft. Drain away an excess grease.
  2. Add the garlic and cook for about a minute, until you can start to smell it.
  3. Stir in the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, heavy cream, and Italian seasoning. Stir until combined. Add the ravioli and stir to coat. Bring to a simmer, cover and simmer for 5-7 minutes until ravioli is cooked.
  4. Stir in Parmesan cheese and spinach. Cook for 2-3 minutes until spinach is wilted.
  5. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • This dish can be garnished with extra Parmesan cheese and fresh herbs.
  • You can substitute the sausage with a vegetarian option if desired.
