- 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite sized pieces
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Pat the steak pieces dry with paper towels, then season them with salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium high heat until hot.
- Add the steak bites in a single layer and sear for 1 to 2 minutes per side until browned and cooked to your preferred doneness. Cook in batches if needed.
- Reduce the heat slightly and add the butter to the skillet.
- Stir in the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Return all the steak bites to the skillet and toss them in the garlic butter until evenly coated.
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
- For best results, use a cast iron skillet for searing.
- Let the steak bits rest for a few minutes before serving.
