  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar and Monterey Jack blend)
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Toppings: sour cream, salsa, guacamole (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef for about 6-8 minutes, breaking it apart with a spatula until fully cooked.
  2. Add the diced onion to the skillet and cook until translucent. Stir in garlic powder, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper; mix well.
  3. Reduce heat to low and sprinkle shredded cheese over the beef mixture. Stir gently until cheese melts into a creamy blend.
  4. Place tortillas on a clean surface. Spoon generous portions of the beef-cheese mixture onto each tortilla. Add desired toppings before folding them tightly.
  5. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Place assembled burritos seam-side down on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
