Ingredients

- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar and Monterey Jack blend)
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp chili powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Toppings: sour cream, salsa, guacamole (optional)
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef for about 6-8 minutes, breaking it apart with a spatula until fully cooked.
- Add the diced onion to the skillet and cook until translucent. Stir in garlic powder, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper; mix well.
- Reduce heat to low and sprinkle shredded cheese over the beef mixture. Stir gently until cheese melts into a creamy blend.
- Place tortillas on a clean surface. Spoon generous portions of the beef-cheese mixture onto each tortilla. Add desired toppings before folding them tightly.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Place assembled burritos seam-side down on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve warm with additional toppings as desired.
