Description
A quick and delicious side of garlic butter green beans.
Ingredients

- 1½ lbs frozen green beans
- 2 tablespoons salted butter
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt (to taste)
- Ground black pepper (to taste)
- ½ cup Parmesan cheese
- Chili flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Add the frozen green beans to a large skillet with a small splash of water.
- Cover and cook over medium heat until the green beans are tender.
- Drain off any excess water from the skillet.
- Add the butter and Italian seasoning, stirring until the butter melts and evenly coats the green beans.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Transfer to a serving dish and finish with Parmesan and red pepper flakes, if desired.
Notes
- For extra flavor, sauté minced garlic with the butter before adding the Italian seasoning.
